Summer Fun

Hello everyone! It has been a great couple of weeks. I have got to spend a lot of extra playtime with Blayne. Mom and Dad got their pool ready for us a couple of months ago. We finally got to take advantage of it this past Saturday. I was extremely nervous about how Blayne was going to do in the water. Well, HE LOVES IT! He has absolutely NO fear.........that kinda scares me! He loves to jump in and let his daddy, or whoever, catch him. He will throw his hands over his head and yell "to infinity and beyond" as loud as he possibly could! ( Yes he LOVES Toy Story and Buzz Lightyear!! ) He now wants to go swimming all the time! He would live in the water if we would let him! I have attached a few pics of the water and some action shots of him jumping in. Notice he sticks his tongue out the whole time. He really concentrates!!

Hey everyone! We have new puppies! Blayne loves them!! Jamey and I decided to let him keep one to raise, but the others have to go! So this post is from Blaynes birthday party. We had a BLAST! He loved all his toys! We got him a new swing set with a playhouse. He calls it his "house" He plays on it every chance he gets.

Time has flew by these past two years. I never knew that it would be possible to love that little boy any more than I did the first day I saw him, but as each day goes by it just grows stronger and stronger! He has made me want to strive to be a better person. I know he looks up to everything that Jamey and I do. He is our pride and joy!! WE LOVE YOU BLAYNE!! ;)

ER + Screaming child = Nerve Pill

Well my sweet little boy had to spend most Thursday night in the ER! He had a spot come up on the bottom of his foot. My first instinct was spider bite. I decided to doctor it myself and just keep and eye on it. So on Wednesday night I doctored it up, cleaned it really well, then put little man to bed. He seemed fine........that is until I got home from moms on Thursday night. He started running a high fever and throwing up. Bless Jamey's heart, he threw up on him at least three times. So by this point I was freaking out........I was assuming the worst spider bite ever and if we didn't get him seen about something bad was going to happen. I take it after my dad I can't help it.........we see the worst in every situation! We stayed at the ER for TWO HOURS only for them to give him an antibiotic and send him home! I worried for NOTHING.........at least I thought. I went for his follow up the next day, I thought this would be a breeze. Especially after the night we had before.........boy was I wrong!! We get in there and the doc starts looking at his foot, the next thing I know there are four nurses and me holding my child down so they can stick a needle in his foot to try to drain it! By this point I needed a valium!! Blayne was screaming "Mommy, Mommy stop it Mommy!" I was so ready to cry with him. After all the drama and needles the doc wasn't able to get anything out of his foot!! Turns out it was probably his skin reacting to an ant bite! SO, after we left there we went and rented movies, got some lunch and headed home for a peaceful day of NOTHING!!!!!

All is well now........he is running, playing and getting into everything as usual. I just thank god nothing major was wrong and the docs were able to fix it!

SLIP N SLIDE ;)

As most of you may already know...my husband participated in some family fun this weekend. This fun includes a slip n slide, complete with baby oil and dish detergent! Yes, I know what most of you are thinking......isn't he too old for that?? Well of course not, your never too old to have some fun. At least that was the tune he was whistling on Sunday. Now of course he may be thinking he is too old!! He has this gigantic knot and bruise on his left elbow......it looks really painful. He has been a trooper....... he's trying so hard not to complain about how extremely sore his ENTIRE body is! I finally convinced him that it would be okay to take some medicine for the pain....even if it didn't seem manly!! lol He feels much better today, so hopefully his body will be back to normal soon :)

Hello everyone!! So I have decided to start a blog for everyone to keep up with Jamey, myself and Blayne!! I will still keep Blayne's website, but I thought this would be a lot of fun too!! ;)
I
